Swantek’s dedication on the trails and the track has been a hallmark of her high school career. Coaches and teammates describe her as a relentless worker whose leadership extended beyond her personal times. “Natalie embodies the spirit of a Spartan athlete,” said Boardman’s head cross country coach. “She pushed herself and her teammates every single day. Seeing her earn this opportunity is a testament to her hard work over the last four years.”
The move to Clarion University will see Swantek competing in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), a highly competitive NCAA Division II league. Clarion’s cross country and track & field programs are gaining a versatile athlete known for her strength in longer distance events.
