Boardman Police Respond to Reports of Gunfire in Residential Area

BOARDMAN, Ore. — The Boardman Police Department is actively investigating multiple reports of gunfire heard in a residential neighborhood late Tuesday evening. Officers were dispatched to the area near Boardman Avenue and Poplar Street shortly after 10:30 p.m. following calls from concerned residents.

According to Chief of Police, Ryan Graves, patrol units conducted an extensive search of the vicinity but did not locate any victims or find immediate evidence of property damage. “We take every report of this nature with the utmost seriousness,” Chief Graves stated. “Our officers canvassed the area thoroughly and are continuing to follow up on leads.”
